The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for the Nandom Constituency in the Upper West Region, Ambrose Dery has sponsored five persons from the constituency to the 2019 edition of the Christian pilgrimage in Israel.
Mr. Dery who doubles as the Minister for the Interior saw the pilgrims off at the Kotoko International Airport yesterday, May 25, 2019.
The MP who spent some time with the pilgrims before their departure reminded them about the unmerited love of God for mankind and the need to continue to pray for the country.
The pilgrims according to Mr. Dery will have the opportunity while in the Holy land of Israel, to visit some significant sites mentioned in the Bible including the Sea of Galilee, Mt. Camel, Wall of the Temple of Jerusalem, River Jordan and Church of Bethlehem.
He also seized the opportunity to bade them a successful pilgrimage.
