A former Secretary of TEIN- NDC and currently studying at the University of Education Winneba-Mampong campus, Oscar Komla Bedzra has descended on the Ashanti Regional chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi naming him a comedian who cannot discredit former president John Dramani Mahama in his quest to contest the presidency of the country in the 2020 elections.

According to him, the decision of the former president of contest is an indication of the work done so far, by the Nana Addo led administration.

“To state the bare fact, the decision of the former president is a proof of extremely incompetent nature of the ruling family and friends they call government”.

He further added that, the Ashanti Regional chairman should rather act against his government and not the NDC, saying “I must be quick to tell funny and comedian Chairman Wontumi to rather take his incompetent NPP to court rather than taking on someone like the former president that he cannot win a case against. I just don’t know why this man keeps wasting his time on someone like John Mahama that Ghanaians are yearning for ‘’.

He advised his fellow comrades in the NDC to ignore comedian Wontumi and focus on the presidential primaries aimed at ‘’redeeming the starving Ghanaian populace under the family and friends government’’.

He also advised the presidential aspirants to focus on the reconciliation process the party is undergoing other than dealing with maters that tend to retard the growth of the party.
