The Ghana Police Service has launched a manhunt for a suspect identified as Mark Agingre, a native of Binduri, believed to be behind a series of gruesome murders in the Binduri District and surrounding communities in the Upper East Region.

According to police reports, the suspect is wanted in connection with the murder of a man, his wife, and three children on November 7, 2025, an attack that also left another child in critical condition at the Bolgatanga Government Hospital.

Investigations further link Mark Agingre to the earlier killing of an elderly man and his two children on October 27, 2025, also in Binduri.

Police say preliminary findings suggest he may be responsible for several other targeted killings in the area.

To support the manhunt, the Police have announced a GH₵1 million reward for anyone who provides credible information leading to the suspect’s arrest.

The public is therefore urged to contact the nearest police station or call the emergency lines 191 or 18555 with any useful information on the suspect’s whereabouts.

The Police, in a statement, assured that every effort is being made to track down the suspect and bring him to justice, while calling on residents to remain calm and cooperate with security agencies.
