The ruling New Patriotic Party’s Bono Regional Chairman, Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC has justified why he decided to curse persons deemed to have accused him of having a hand in the matter of the missing excavators.
BestNewsGH.com reports him as saying even though he is an ardent member of the Presbyterian Church, he decided to go to the cemetery with a bottle of schnapp and a goat to invoke the curses on those peddling the false allegations against him because ‘’the gods hate nonsense’’.
Abronye DC who was speaking on Accra based Asempa Fm and monitored by BestNewsGH.com opined that “My love for other gods is undefined because of their propensity to dispense swift and timely justice…God takes too much time before he acts and I can’t wait that long. The gods are fast that is why I prefer that.’’
The loudmouth NPP Regional Chairman two days ago, was caught in a video in the company of a few others, invoking curses at a cemetery, on his perceived enemies, particularly those who have linked him to the excavators saga.
“…for those peddling these unsubstantiated lies against me, may the gods of thunder strike them down if they do not stop and on the other hand if I am in any way connected to the missing excavator saga, may same God’s strike me down,”he said while he invoked the curses.
Meanwhile the family of known opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) activist, Yayra Koku has issued a 72 hour ultimatum to Abronye DC, asking him to revoke the curses he placed on their son, or face the wrath of their gods.
The family in a statement made available to the media said their son has denied ever linking Abronye DC to the missing excavators and that their checks on Facebook where Abronye alleged their son posted a message linking him to the subject, showed that Mr. Koku was innocent.
