The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has voted in the ongoing District and Unit Committee Member’s elections.
Dr. Bawumia voted in his home Constituency of Walewale about an hour ago.
The Vice President after casting his ballot described the move as a fulfillment of his civic responsibilities.
He voted at the Kperiga Presby D/A School ‘A’ polling station in Walewale.
He encouraged the generality of the Ghanaian people to come out in their numbers and vote, explaining that national development begins at the local level.
‘’In fulfilment of my civic responsibilities, I was at the Kperiga Presby D/A School ‘A’ polling station in Walewale to cast my vote in this year’s District and Unit Committee members’ election. I urge all to come out in your numbers to vote since national development begins at the local level.’’ He wrote on his Facebook Page after voting.
