The phenomenon of young Africans dating and marrying older white women in order to travel abroad and gain legitimacy is still rife on the continent.
These young men do not care about the wide age difference between them and the white women. Perhaps they take solace in the saying “age is nothing but a number”.
Question is, who is to blame for this unpalatable trend? The young men, the old white women or the leaders in Africa who have not made staying back home in Africa pleasant?
