Activist Oliver Barker-Vormawor has denied claims of ever being affiliated with the National Democratic Congress (NDC), asserting that he has always been a committed member of the Convention People’s Party (CPP).

Appearing before the committee, on Wednesday, January 29, Barker-Vormawor sought to put to rest the speculation surrounding his political alignment, stressing that his loyalty has always remained with the CPP.

“I have never been an NDC member; I have always been a CPP member,” Barker-Vormawor stated.

His clarification comes in response to mounting public debate regarding his political leanings.

Barker-Vormawor, known for his outspoken views on national issues, has often been linked with NDC but he was quick to distance himself from the party that has at times been associated with some of his positions.

“I have always stood by the principles of the CPP,” he reiterated, adding that his political actions and statements are reflective of his commitment to the party’s values and ideology.
