The Chief Executive Officer of Habbana Hospital in Tamale, Dr. Thomas Anabah has marked his 46th Birthday with orphans at the Nazareth Home Orphanage near Yendi in the Northern Region.
It has become a tradition for the former Director of the Ridge Hospital to celebrate his birthday with children in the same orphanage every year.
Dr. Anabah, accompanied by his beautiful wife and children, friends and some staff of the Habbana Hospital visited the orphanage yesterday, Saturday, March 7, 2020 to share with them some meals and also donate towards their upkeep.
He donated items such as toilet rolls, bathing soap, bags of rice, stationery and beverages among others to the orphanage.
BestNewsGH.com can report that this year’s engagement was extremely different as the atmosphere was charged with excitement from management of the facility through to Dr. Anabah and his entourage as they had fun and danced together while showing love and affection to the unfortunate kids.
Dr. Thomas Anabah as a medical doctor, used the occasion to admonish management and the children to ensure good health through hand washing, keeping the environment clean and bathing regularly.
He educated management and the gathering on the various precautionary measures being taken to ensure the prevention of various kinds of diseases.
He assured them of his availability and the capacity of his hospital to continue to extend a helping hand to any of them who needs help at any point in time.
He acknowledged his long standing relationship with the facility and assured them that he will continue to be with them as long as he lives.
The management of the facility while thanking Dr. Anabah for his continued support to the home, presented him with a unique portrait which bears an interpretation of his name and stating the meaning of each letter in his name.
The children on their part expressed joy at the continuous support they receive from Dr. Anabah and prayed for him towards the realisatiion of his dreams and aspirations.
They also prayed that he will attain higher heights in life, with the belief that the higher he goes, the bigger and better the donations and support they will get from him.
