BestNewsGH.com is reliably informed that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency Chairman for the Daffiama Busie Issa Constituency in the Upper West Region Puolabong Bayiilela Richard has been shot dead.
A source within the NDC which confirmed the news to this website said ‘Chairman Water’ as the deceased is popularly known was attacked by armed robbers while on his way from his constituency to the Regional capital, Wa, when the robbers ambushed and shot at him in his car.
According to the source, the incident took place between 10 and 11pm last night.
The source added that the deceased was conveyed to the Wa regional Hospital and pronounced dead on arrival.
