The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr. Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu today, Sunday April 21, 2019 as part of the celebration of his 100th birth, attended the mass service at the Christ the King Catholic church in Accra.
Accompanied by family, friends, relations and other Islamic scholars, the Chief Imam was met on arrival by the parish priest, Rev. Fr. Andrew Campbell, who ushered them into the main Hall for the mass service.
The move has been touted by many as yet another gracious act by the revered Islamic Scholar who has endeared himself to many across the country, Africa and the globe for his incessant acts of promoting peace, stability and unity in the country and beyond.
Sheikh Dr. Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu was born on April 23, 1919 and remains till date, one of the longest serving National Chief Imams Ghana has ever had.
