Ghana has officially been invited to the maiden edition of the Arab-Africa Youth Summit billed for the 16th through to the 18th of March 2019 at Aswan in Egypt.
The Egyptian Ambassador to Ghana Emad Magdy Hanna extended the invitation to the Minister for Youth and Sports Isaac Kwame Asiamah when he called on him at his office yesterday, March 11 2019.
He lauded the historic bond of friendship between Ghana and Egypt and reiterated the need to ensure a more fruitful cooperation between both countries.
The Ambassador also commended President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for exhibiting exemplary leadership with great vision.
The Minister for Sports on his part expressed the country’s appreciation to the Egyptian Ambassador for the invitation and intimated government’s commitment at fostering close bilateral relations with Egypt and other countries on the continent of Africa.
