The Ministry of energy has organized an international petroleum contracts masterclass for players in the petroleum sector in the country.
The international petroleum contracts masterclass is aimed at building the capacity of Ghanaians that often represent the country in the petroleum contracting process.
The workshop is being facilitated by Dr. Ken Mildwaters, a world renowned academic and consultant with specialty in petroleum contracting.
The participants for the workshop are drawn from the Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Finance, the Attorney General’s department, the Petroleum Commission, the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company (BOST) and the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC).
Speaking at the workshop, the Minister of Energy, Hon. John Peter Amewu asked participants to ensure that they take advantage of the rare opportunity to develop their knowledge base and skills extensively in order to help improve the sector in the country.
