President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as part of his visit to the People’s Republic of China has met with co-founder and Chairman of Alibaba, a Chinese Multinational Holding Conglomerate specializing in e-commerce, retail, internet, Al and Technology Jack Ma.
The president during the meeting appealed to Mr. Ma and his company to consider opening the company’s Africa operations Headquarters in Ghana.
Announcing the meeting on his Twitter handle, president Akufo-Addo said Ghana was poised to take advantage of the quest by the Chinese giant to venture into the African market, adding that Africa looks forward to the company nurturing talents on the continent in the area of technology.
